The work is done with warmth, and it is checked with you the whole time. The aim is a pleasant, deep warmth, not heat.

Does it hurt?

It should not. The pressure is deep but even. If it is strong, you say so and it eases.

How is it different from a classic massage?

The warmth loosens the tissue beforehand, and the sticks reach deeper with less effort. If you want classic relaxation without heat, the Mieli massage is the better choice.
