The Mieli Massage: what it is and which length to choose

The Mieli Massage is the signature massage of our studio - and the only one that carries its name. It is not a set routine: each time it is steered by what your body needs on the day you come. It comes in three lengths, and this article is about how to choose.

What the Mieli Massage is

A personalised massage that works on the areas with the most tension. We start with a conversation - what bothers you, since when, and whether a doctor has told you anything - and only then decide where to begin. The pressure changes at your word at any moment.

That is why two Mieli Massages are rarely the same. If your neck hurts today, we work on the neck and shoulders. If next time it is the lower back, we start there.

60 minutes - quick recovery

The 60 minute Mieli Massage is for quick recovery and recharging in a busy life. It suits tension in the neck, back and lower back, tiredness after work, headaches, stress and mild muscle stiffness.

90 minutes - deeper work

The 90 minute Mieli Massage gives time for deeper work with the body and the nervous system. It suits chronic tension, a sedentary life, back, shoulder and lower back pain that keeps returning, and stiffness.

120 minutes - deep regeneration

The 120 minute Mieli Massage is a deep, personalised ritual for full recovery of body, mind and nervous system. For periods of heavy load, exhaustion and high stress.

How to choose

Nothing hurts in particular and you just want your body to rest - 60 minutes.

The same spot has been speaking up for weeks - 90 minutes.

You are worn out and need more than an hour - 120 minutes.

If your body is stiff as a whole and the Mieli Massage does not release it, look at Myofascial Release.

When to see a doctor first

Sharp pain after an injury. Numbness or weakness in an arm or leg. Pain that wakes you at night. A fever. These are not cases for a massage therapist - ask your doctor first, we will wait for the answer.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the Mieli Massage and a classic massage?

“Classic” describes a technique. The Mieli Massage is our personalised massage: the areas and the pressure are chosen by how your body is today, not by a fixed programme.

How much does it cost?

€60 for 60 minutes, €80 for 90 minutes and €105 for 120 minutes.

Can I give it as a gift?

Yes - as a massage gift voucher. It is valid for twelve months for the length you choose.

Can I choose my therapist?

Yes. Every therapist has a profile on the therapists page, and you can book with a specific person.
